Our Story
Newlyweds Serena + James Helwig saw a great need in their community for free clothing, food, personal care, and baby items. Since launching the Columbia Free Store from their front stoop in 2025, they have provided a source of comfort and compassion to countless families with high quality items and zero stigma. ALL members of the community are welcome to free items restocked weekly.
