Upstate Play
2019 – 2021
Upstate Play was the original concept by Kris to create a play space with community and support for moms of babies to three year olds during the pandemic. Coffee, conversation, snacks, and a safe pod environment for an incredible group of Hudson familes who needed it. Moms were able to work part time and get relief up to three hours a day. Kris took a break in 2022 to focus on raising her young children full time.
Play Pop
2023 – Present
In January 2023, Kris partnered with Elina Tunyan, another local mom who also has a passion for community and the great need for postpartum support to re-visit Upstate Play and Play Pop was born. Without a brick and mortar space - they produced highly successful pop-up play events for families all over the Hudson Valley region Spring-Summer 2023. They have now opened their own space in Hudson, October 2023, and are planning community events throughout the fall and holiday season.
